Hannes Rauhe was born in 1985 in Meiningen. He received his Diploma in Computer Science in November 2010. Since then he is working as a Ph.D. student at SAP AG in Walldorf in the field of In-Memory-Computing. His research currently focuses on accelerating query execution in column stores with the help of Co-Processors (e.g. GPUs).
