Pilot study carried out by university student Sebastian Ulrich during his internship at TecArt, successfully demonstrated remote control of SCITOS robot using the TecArt CRM (customer relationship management software).

At 10th of June 2014 prime minister of Thuringia Christine Lieberknecht visited the m&i-rehab hospital in Bad Liebenstein to take part in a robot demonstration of the ROREAS project. The aim of this project is to assist stroke patients in their training by using an autonomous rehab robot.
For obvious reasons, we also call these maps "Smartie-maps". Thanks to our adaptive resolution mapping, filigrane structures like the rocking chair shown in the forground of the above image can be modelled.
The red areas show the areas of capacitive touch sensors mounted to the inside of the plastic cover of the Scitos G3 Robot. These are used for assisted local motion control since pushing the robot passively is not possible.
To prevent such severe pipe bursts, the RODIAR project aims to develop an autonomous inspection robot for the detection of weak spots within fresh water pipelines. Therefore, the robot has to withstand pressures of more than 15 bar. (Image: Thüringer Fernwasserversorgung)
