The study course Media Technology - Bachelor of Science (BSc)
The study course media technology is divided into a bachelor- and a master study course. The Bachelor of Science comprises seven semesters (standard period of study). The consecutive master study course (degree Master of Science) includes three semesters.

Goal of the study course is to teach students holistic professional knowledge in the area of media technologies and to guide them to work independently according to scientific methods. Students should gain the ability to independently familiarize themselves with multifaceted tasks of application- and research related fields of activity. Furthermore, they should be able to accomplish these often changing tasks as they appear in their future work.
Design of the study course: In the first three semesters students gain natural scientific and technological basics as part of the university’s common engineering studies as well as basic knowledge in media technology. From semester 4 to 7 this knowledge will be specifically deepened and extended. A professional internship in the 6th semester and the bachelor thesis in the 7th semester complete the study course.
