Studies abroad for students of AMW is attended to by the team for international activities: the IfMK International at the Institute for Media and Communication Research.

Tasks for the team are:

• Establishment, maintenance and support of cooperations with partner universities. 
• Extension of International Programme (course offering in English).
• Counseling and support of AMW students interested in studies abroad (outgoing students) as well as counseling and support of international students at the IfMK (incoming students).
• Support of international exchange of researchers at the IfMK and from abroad.

Counseling of German students interested in stays abroad is taken care of by those professors at the IfMK who also act as contact persons for respective partner universities.
