ZIK MacroNano®

The programme "Centres for Innovation Competence“  of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF-Programm „Zentren für Innovationskompetenz“, ZIK) turns outstanding research approaches at universities and research institutions in the East German region into internationally renowned centres, which should also act as a magnet for young scientists. The foundation of the “Centre for Innovation Competence MacroNano®” at our Institute in 2006 enabled us to establish several Junior Research Groups.

Topics:

BioLithoMorphie

term:  10/01/2015 – 03/01/2018

Assembly of biological materials through lithographic methods in order to construct three-dimensional, biological morphology; TP: systems, substrates and sensors for BioLithoMorphie.

3D Nanopatterning

term:  01/2012-12/2016

Thanks to the subsidies of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research, the delevopment of micro-nano-integration at TU Ilmenau will be supported by another junior research group.

Preliminary project BioLithoMorphie

  • term: 04/2014-05/2015

Assembly of biological materials through lithographic methods to construct three-dimensional, biological morphology.

Microfluidics and Biosensors

  • term: 07/2005-06/2010

Research on the modification of biosensors to implement them into complex analytical systems using microfluidics. The aim is the development of biochemical assays and of innovative assay platforms by means of non-fluorescence-based measuring principles.

Functionalised Periferics

  • term:  07/2005-06/2010

Ceramic multi-layer technologies and integration of passive high-frequency structures as well as compound materials.

 Micro plastic mould

  • term: 09/2007-08/2009

Research and development of 3D plastic moulds in miniature size.
