Welcome to the Theoretical Fluid Mechanics Group

The group is responsible for the undergraduate course work in Fluid Mechanics which is a part of the Bachelor program in Mechanical Engineering and Mechatronics. In addition, advanced courses, such as  computational fluid mechanics, turbulent convection, and hydrodynamic turbulence are offered within the master module "Thermodynamics and Fluid Mechanics". Our research is focused to turbulent mixing of concentration fields, turbulence in dilute polymer solutions, convection processes in technology and environment and dynamical systems.
