Applied Spectral Imaging for Plastic Materials (ASIP)

The goal of this technology transfer project is to define new applications and implementation technologies for spectral imaging systems. Spectral imaging is currently a growing technology with huge potential for impact in industry. Plastics as a basis for products with growing applications and features were chosen as a target material due to its perfect fit for spectral imaging the large variety of products. It also serves a raw material for a large number of businesses in the participating regions, i.e. Carinthia, Austria and Thuringia, Germany.
