Preparation of Oral and Poster Presentations

Oral presentations are scheduled to take 15 minutes for presentation and discussion.

As participants of the Symposium shall be enabled to switch between parallel sessions the chair of the session will watch the compliance with the schedule tightly.

The scientific programme available for download on this web site contains all details regarding time and location of all oral presentations. Moreover there will be a secretary for each session who will assist you in technical questions for example connecting your personal laptop with the beamer or copying your presentation on the laptop of the current session.

Every room is equipped with a beamer and a laptop. Speakers are requested to bring their presentation on a USB and preload them onto the PC located in the lecture room. The PCs are prepared for PPT-presentations of MS Office 2010 and older Versions and for PDF-Presentations.

We offer an area measuring 70 cm in width and 100 cm in height for poster presentations. On Thursday, Sept. 1, the poster reception will be held from 2.00 p.m. to 3.00 p.m.. The posters can be attached to the pin boards provided in room "Jena" from 8 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 31. Pins are provided in the room. Please attach your poster well before the beginning of the poster reception. All authors who contributed a poster are asked to attend the poster session in order to answer questions.
