Travel to Jena

By train:
You can come to Jena by train. There are ICE trains and express trains running. 

By plane:
The Erfurt airport (ERF) is the nearest airport serving mainly domestic flights. Please check whether it is advantageous to you to use it. We would like to recommend you to go to Frankfurt/Main (FRA) or Leipzig (LEJ), or also to Berlin (TXL or SXF). There is an ICE train connection from all of these airports to Jena. The trip from Leipzig/Halle takes about 2 hrs, from Berlin about 3 hrs, and from Frankfurt about 3 hrs too.
