The collinear imaging in mathematical terms is a reversible unambiguous transformation of an object plane into an image plane. The skew collinear imaging is a special case of the usual collinear imaging, it is sharp but not similar. It is shown that for a general spatial inclination of the object plane a generalized Scheimpflug-condition exists. The difference from the similarity of this imaging is analytically discussed and graphically illustrated.
