| Students will be - familiar with the implementation of complex research designs, - able to understand and apply different methods of multivariate analysis of quantitative data to answer their research questions, - able to interpret and explain the results of advanced statistical analyses. |
Lerninhalte
| The first part of the lecture deals with complex research designs, including the implementation of qualitative research methods. The seminar and the second part of the lecture will focus on theory and techniques of multivariate analysis of quantitative data (Regression Analysis, Analysis of Variance, Factor Analysis etc.). While the lecture gives an overview over the principles and statistical basics of the analysis, in the seminar these techniques are applied to specific research problems using real research data. |
