IMN-Kolloquium: "Wide-field single photon counting detector and its applications"

Am Mittwoch, dem 30.01.2019, um 13 Uhr spricht Dr. Yury Prokazov von der Photonscore GmbH in Magdeburg im Rahmen des IMN-Kolloquiums zum Thema "Wide-field single photon counting detector and its applications". Die Veranstaltung findet im Feynmanbau, Gustav-Kirchhoff-Straße 7, Raum 114/115, statt.

Zum Vortrag:
Conventionally, time-domain fluorescence lifetime imaging (FLIM) is performed with a help of confocal scanning microscope and point photon counting detector. Here we present a camera system based on a position sensitive photon counter that enables time-domain FLIM acquisition with virtually any fluorescence microscope. Together with an introduction of the camera we provide a summary of several scientific applications including (i) visualisation of NADH binding and synthesis in living cells; (ii) Förster resonance energy transfer (FRET) biosensor measurements; and (iii) an axial super resolution technique with metal induced energy transfer (MIET). In addition to applications an overview of FLIM/FRET statistical analysis techniques will be given.

Gäste sind herzlich willkommen.
