First milestone reached - Heading for new shores

Commercials move into focus

The long talked about interactive screen has finally been completed – a first milestone has been reached. In the end, 70 movie clips from nine different countries made it into the final version. The main attention applied to feature movies and from these nine countries short clips can be watched: Spain, Latvia, Estonia, Finland, UK, Slovenia, Serbia, Italy, and Germany. If you are curious, you will find ceramic props captured on film at The Potteries Museum & Art Gallery at Stoke-on-Trent (Great-Britain) until January 2017.

After that, the next venues take place in

  • Estonian Museum of Applied Art and Design at Tallinn (Estonia) until 26 March 2017
  • The Riga Porcelain Museum (Latvia)

But instead of resting on laurels, the next task has been already decided upon: For the final database, the team of Module 4 is looking for commercials for the House of Ceramics which aims to explore the potential of virtual worlds. The new format will unveil new perspectives of ceramics and will hopefully satisfy the team who by now is hungry for more.

As well as the famous British comedy group Monty Python once did: The Quest for the Holy Grail goes on!
