Compensation of study-related disadvantages for disabled and chronically-ill students

Compensation of study-related disadvantages for disabled and chronically-ill students

"As far as a student shows probable cause that he/she suffers from a longer lasting or permanent disability or chronical illness and, therefore, is not able to take all or part of examinations in the prescribed form or time, the responsible examination board permits – based on the student’s application – to take examinations according to the student’s abilities recognizing his/her personal situation and disability (compensation for disadvantages). This compensation can especially refer to the form and length of an examination or the use of additional materials, tools etc. permitted for examinations...."
