Tasks in the project:

  • Production of In-free III-V nanowire structures with reduced Ga content using organometallic vapor phase epitaxy
  • Characterization of the grown structures with regard to their material properties, such as electrical conductivity
  • Photoelectrochemical characterization of the III-V nanowire structures
  • Determination/documentation of material flows along the production processes and the life cycle of important component structures
  • - Listing of critical material properties and derivation of relevant impact categories
  • Evaluation of resource efficiency
  • Evaluation of the efficiency of metal-organic vapor phase epitaxy

Methods:

  • Metal-organic vapor phase epitaxy,
  • multi-tip scanning tunneling microscopy,
  • Linear sweep voltammetry,
  • chronoamperometry,
  • atomic force microscopy
  • Scanning electron microscopy,
  • X-ray diffractometry,
