Project tasks:

  • Literature review to identify technological progress trends.
  • Development of a database on the resource and product market for critical materials.
  • Econometric analysis to identify specific progress effects.
  • Determination/discussion of possible progress trends.

Methods:

  • Criticality assessment frameworks, time series modelling (e.g., using RStudio)
  • Patents analysis using Patstat database via PostgreSQL (pgAdmin)
  • Scenarios analysis using econometric forecasting and system dynamics models (Wolfram System Modeler).
