Prospects for a stay abroad

Guideline for Studies Abroad at one of our partner universities

Check list winter term

Please mind the following deadlines if your study abroad should start in the winter term:

Application check list for winter term
Time frame

No later than December upto JanuaryShow interest, get in touch with contact persons and get information
Beginning of February until 1st MarchSubmission of an application including a letter of motivation and a curriculum vitae in tabular form
Middle of MarchNotification regarding result of the application
Right afterRegistration with the Erasmus Programme and contacting Ms Petra Schmolinsky

Important notice: For the orderly registration at a partner university, application and registration forms have to be filled in. All selected students should get in touch with Ms Schmolinsky immediately.
Until the end of MarchFilling in the Learning Agreement form and discussing the Learning Agreements with Ms Cornelia Scheibe (Consultant for education)
Until15th AprilSubmission of the registration forms for the chosen partner university with Ms Petra Schmolinsky after previous consultation with her!


Finding an apartment

As soon as you have received the Letter of Acceptance from your partner university your studies abroad will be approved so that you can start your detailed planning, such as booking a flight, looking for accomodation etc.

  2. What does studying abroad mean for my studies?
  3. What does studying abroad mean for me personally?
  4. Why do I choose this specific university?
