20.08.2020 - Awards for Thomas Jochmann at the ISMRM 2020
Two awards during the annual meeting of the International Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine
Congratulations to our PhD student Thomas Jochmann for winning two awards during the annual meeting of the International Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine.
For his presentation of the conference poster with the title “How to train a Deep Convolutional Neural Network for Quantitative Susceptibility Mapping (QSM)” he won the
1st prize in the ISMRM Electro-Magnetic Tissue Properties Study Group Poster Competition.
The poster, authored by Thomas Jochmann, Jens Haueisen, and Ferdinand Schweser is the result of collaborative research with the University at Buffalo (USA) and is available for download.
With another submission, Thomas Jochmann won the
3rd prize in the ISMRM Quantitative MRI Study Group Public Engagement Competition
for explaining a difficult subject of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) to a wider audience. His two posters, explaining quantitative magnetic resonance imaging and quantitative susceptibility mapping can be downloaded here.
