IfMK-Research team receives Matthijs-Hammer Award of the European Council for Small Business and Entrepreneurship.

At 3E Conference of the European Council for Small Business and Entrepreneurship (ECSB) a research team from IfMK was awarded with the Matthijs-Hammer Award.

Their contribution “There are still foundations to be laid. An analysis of entrepreneurship education in STEM degree programs”, presented by Britta M. Gossel, Kathrin Schleicher, Anja Solf, Maximilian Krauß, Christian Weber and Prof. Andreas Will was honored with the Award “for the most innovative researcher whose research makes a difference by helping real world young entrepreneurs”. The explanatory statement announced that the paper makes a major contribution to establishing entrepreneurship across disciplines and to make entrepreneurial competencies in education accessible to a broad target group. Britta Gossel accepted the award in Enschede (Netherlands) at the conference on May 17, 2018. The publication was created in the context of the project "Entrepreneurship Education Monitor for STEM Courses in Eastern Germany" funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy, the Federal Government Commissioner for the New Länder.
