From October 3 to 5, two members of the Group for Research in Public Relations and Communication of Technology participated in the 6th International Crisis Communication Conference (Crisis6) with the topic "Innovations in the Field of Risk & Crisis Communication" in Leeds, UK.

Dr. Andreas Schwarz, head of the PRTK department, presented the results of a research project on "Framing and risk perception of artificial intelligence in Germany and the USA" conducted jointly with Laura Martin. Tatjana Faj presented first findings of guided interviews on the role of cultural value orientation in cross-cultural crisis communication conducted within the framework of her doctoral thesis.

The Crisis6 is part of an international conference series on crisis communication, which was initiated ten years ago in Ilmenau by Andreas Schwarz and Martin Löffelholz, both heads of the International Research Group on Crisis Communication (IRGoCC). This year's conference was hosted by Audra Diers-Lawson from Leeds Beckett University.
