Prof. Sergii Byelikov, Rector of ZNTU, congratulates Dr.-Ing. Karsten Henke during the diploma ceremony.
On June 25 2018, Dr.-Ing. Karsten Henke (Technische Universität Ilmenau) was awarded the title of Honorary Professor by the academic council of Zaporozhye National Technical University (ZNTU, Ukraine). Karsten Henke was recognized for outstanding achievements and significant contribution to the development of education, science and international cooperation. On Thursday 23 August 2018 Rector Prof. Sergii Byelikov officially gave Dr.-Ing. Karsten Henke the diploma of “Honorary Professor of ZNTU” during a ceremony.
ZNTU is a nearly 120 years old engineering institute. Since 2001 it became a National University and changed its name to ZNTU - Zaporozhye National Technical University. ZNTU consists of 6 institutes and 12 departments, educating more than 13.000 students in bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral programmes in engineering.
The Integrated Communication Systems Group cooperates for more than 7 years with ZNTU via Tempus Projects (ICo-op, DESIRE) and KA1-capacity building. Several students of ZNTU where welcomed as exchange students in master’s courses and for PhD-research. Staff members of ZNTU were regularly welcomed for guest lectures.
