Abstract:: The cognitive radio (CR) or intelligent radio becomes more and more anticipated and promising solution to solve spectrum efficiency problems. The most challenging scenario is represented by CR ad hoc networks (CRAHNs) because of its dynamic and flexible nature. This work aims to improve a spectrum usage efficiency using directional antennas and movement capabilities of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) that represent CR nodes.
