- The microprocessor design described in this degree dissertation is part of a holistic approach of Boundary Scan emulation based testing for failure diagnostics.
First of all several important fundamentals are set, followed by the gradually highlighted catalogue of requirements. Based on these requirements the design
and its core elements will be introduced. Although all decisions important for the design are explained. Practical results are presented from structural and functional
view in chapter five. The requirement completion will be discussed by the following design validation. Several possible extensions for the processor are presented and
judged afterwards. The closing résumé is followed by notes and diagrams, which will become important for further usage of the processor.
