Abstract:: SOA and webservices are modern buzzwords in conjunction with the development of the "Next Generation Internet". The goal of this work is to represent an overview of the sense and the functionality of webservices and Service-Oriented-Architecture (SOA). It have to be determined, which requirements are demanded by these technologies against the future network infrastructure.
