- First of all, the Simulator CARMA, that was developed to
compare algorithms for managing UMTS Radio Ressources, particularly the alternation of RRC States, at the department "Integrated HW and SW Systems", is extended by the new Technology HSDPA. Part of this extension is a new interface for scheduling algorithms. Following, the effects of this extension on the already implemented algorithms is analyzed, mainly concerning Connection Setup Times and
achievable Data Throughput. After all, a new scalable algorithm on the base of genetic heuristics is implemented.
