Short-term and long-term lectureships abroad

The DAAD supports and arranges lectureships abroad for university teachers. Short-term lectureships are generally possible for 1 - 6 months, long-term lectureships for at least one year and can be funded for up to five years. The teaching activity must take place at a state-recognised higher education institution abroad. More Information

Emeriti Programme

The Johann Gottfried Herder Programme offers former German university teachers the opportunity to teach at a host university worldwide. This is done either through specific calls for applications or in a self-organised way. You can also enter your subject and regional profile in the DAAD Emeriti database.
