Overview of studies

Review of individualized current flow modeling studies for transcranial electrical stimulation.

Structure of the forward and inverse problem setup for tES.

Transcranial electrical stimulation (tES) is a promising methodology for interventional neurophysiology used in both scientific and therapeutic applications. Many tES protocols apply fixed parameters to all participants or patients contributing to outcome variability. In the present publication we review studies using individualized modeling to derive adapted stimulation configurations leading to more robust stimulation effects.
