2nd NeuroSensEar workshop - consortium meeting on 30 May 2024

On May 30, 2024, another workshop was held as part of the NeuroSensEar project. The workshop aimed to further define the vision, goals and requirements of the project and to strengthen cooperation between the various working groups.

The workshop began with a welcome to the participants and a brief organizational discussion. Topics such as the reorganization of meetings and the election of a PhD representative for the Board were on the agenda.

In a joint discussion, all participants discussed the vision of the NeuroSensEar project as well as the goals and objectives for the entire system. Use cases and benchmark cases were discussed, which will serve as a basis for further project work.

To develop specific goals and requirements for the individual system components, the participants split into focus groups. Each group discussed:

• The overall goal of their work
• The contribution of their component to the overall system (output)
• The requirements for other groups to achieve their goals

All groups then presented their results and discussed their individual goals and requirements. This provided an overview of the various contributions and requirements within the project.

The requirements and interfaces between the various system components were then discussed again. In order to guarantee a comprehensive understanding, the groups were repeatedly mixed up during the discussion.

The workshop ended with a summary of the content developed and a final wrap-up. The participants reflected on the results and planned the next steps in the NeuroSensEar project.
