Within the scope of this joint project, new sensor systems for the application area of "liquid sensor technology" are investigated using SiCer technology (use of silicon-ceramic composite substrates). In close cooperation with the participating project partners, the application-specific technological requirements for the sensors to be developed in the joint project will be coordinated and corresponding performance and functional specifications for the development and construction of SiCer-based, multifunctional sensor systems for the application area "liquid sensor technology" will be worked out. As a result, sensor elements and the corresponding assembly and connection technology (electrical, fluidic, thermal, optical) will be decisively conceived, designed, constructed as functional models and examined by the TU Ilmenau. Subsequently, the basic functionality of the sensor elements will be tested and before they are handed over to the project partners for further system integration.
