The Carl Zeiss Foundation's funding is earmarked with a strong focus on scientific work for doctoral students and early career researchers. In order to develop its full strategic impact, the initiative requires co-financing for the necessary organizational and administrative support. In particular, the following measures are planned in the run-up to and during the start-up phase, which are primarily aimed at increasing the visibility of the focus area:

-Marketing measures (social media, homepage...)
-Advertisement of the scientific positions
-assessment center for the selection of the scientific director and doctoral candidates for the
 and the doctoral students for the “Doctorate Research Fellowships”
-Preparation of the scientific work in the ISGE
