Internet : thoska+ on your own PC
Motivation
Especially during the semester break or during an internship, it can be useful to use thoska+ to perform the functions of the online student and examination administration on your own PC.
The current thoska+ student ID cards issued at the TU Ilmenau are .NET v2+ Smart Cards from the company Gemalto.
The connection to the server of the online student and exam administration requires a valid electronic certificate on your thoska+ for client authentication. Without a valid certificate, the server rejects your request with a connection error.
An electronic certificate personalized in your name and limited to 3 years can be obtained by presenting your identity card and your thoska+ at the University Computer Center.
You can reach the online student and examination administration via the Internet at the following URL https://os.tu-ilmenau.de, where you should enter your PIN.
