Early study program : Motivation
The TU Ilmenau offers an early study program for top-performing pupils of grammar school levels 9 to 13.
Currently, a structured early study program in cooperation with the TU Ilmenau is offered at three Thuringian grammar schools.
- Goetheschule, Ilmenau - subjects Sciences and Technology
- Salzmannschule, Schnepfenthal - subject Economic Sciences
- Gymnasium am Lindenberg, Ilmenau
Additionally, there are cooperation agreements with further grammar schools in individual mathe-matical and scientific subjects.

Application for participation in early study program
The entitlement to participate in the early study program applies only for one semester.
If a student is interested in continuing the early study program, he must repeat the application before the next semester starts.
