Ceremonial matriculation

On Saturday, October 9th, 2021, the Technical University of Ilmenau will accept its new students into the academic community. Your celebratory matriculation takes place from 10 a.m. in the Audimax of the TU Ilmenau. The number of places in the Audimax is limited, registration is required, a maximum of 2 accompanying persons are possible. The event was also broadcast live on the TU Ilmenau's Youtube channel.

In addition to the greeting by the President, Prof. Kai-Uwe Sattler, you can look forward to a celebratory speech given by Junior Professor Dr. Emese Domahidi, head of the Computational Communication Science department at the TU Ilmenau. She speaks on the subject of “Digital, interdisciplinary, international? - Academic studies in transition”. The student council will also give you a warm welcome. The event is musically framed by the chamber choir and the academic orchestra of the TU Ilmenau.

Due to the limited number of places due to the pandemic, registration for face-to-face participation (3G) is required.
