Studies Advisory Service

You are welcome at the ZSB with all your questions about studying.

We provide advice on the content, requirements, structure of courses of study, further qualifications, career prospects and the social environment of studying. This also includes help and support with personal problems and difficulties that may arise.

We offer individual discussions in a confidential atmosphere. Against the background of your personal circumstances, your needs and interests, we clarify your concerns, offer you information and guidance, and work with you to develop options for decision-making and action.

In addition to individual one-on-one conversations, we also offer group discussions, whether with parents and relatives, or with peers who are interested in the same topic or have the same concern.

• Organization of the annual "Open Day - University Information Day", the "Last Minute Info Day" and participation in other study-related events at the university and in the region.
• Presentation of the study programs offered by the TU Ilmenau at approx. 50 education fairs throughout Germany
• Presentations to school classes in and outside the university
• Organization of the introductory week for first-year students, training and professional support of the tutors assigned for this purpose
• Participation in the creation of offline and online materials on the study programs offered by the TU Ilmenau for bachelor's, master's and diploma programs
