Study with a child

Every study is a challenge. Studying with children requires good self-organisation and motivation, which will help parents in many situations!

With the many support offers, this can also be mastered well. When it comes to organising your studies, special study plans, semesters off or part-time study can take the pressure off. In the student advisory service we can discuss which support offer would best suit the given situation.

Since January 1, 2018, the regulations of the Maternity Protection Act (MuSchG) also apply to students. Information about regulations, protection rights, forms and contact persons can be obtained from the  Intranet  (please use your university login).

Information about the compatibility of family at the TU Ilmenau can be found on the page of the Division Equality, Diversity & Health.

A lot of useful information on finance and law, support and course offers as well as helpful links can be found on the pages of the Studierendenwerk  can be found.
