Description

Industrial Engineering and Managament is an interdisciplinary course of study. In a broadly based and approximately equivalent education in the natural sciences and engineering as well as in law and economics, students acquire the ability to combine engineering and business management thinking and to solve corresponding problems together with specialists from other departments. Students should thereby acquire the ability to critically assess scientific findings and to familiarize themselves with the diverse tasks of application and subject-related fields of activity.

The level of education attained in the Bachelor's programme already allows for a far-reaching, career-oriented specialisation and consolidation with the transition to the Master's programme. A successful course of study leads to the professional qualification "Bachelor of Science". This is a prerequisite for the Master's degree course that builds on this.
