Description

The program is consecutive and is based on the Bachelor in Mechatronics. Besides graduates from Mechatronics, graduates of Mechanical Engineering (particullary with specialisation precision engineering), Control Engineering, Coputer Science and other related technical majors are also enabled for this master program. This applies to university graduates and high-skilled bachelor graduates from universities of aplied science as well as engineers who are looking for postgraduate training.

Mechatronics is a multidisciplinary field of engineering science, based on the fundamental disciplines of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and information technology. It deals with the systematic development and technical implementation of new integrated systems, which are characterized by a certain degree of "intelligence" and the resultant, independent ability to act. The goal of our education of modern engineers is the transfer of expertise and systematic thinking, even beyond the boundaries of the subject, combined with the ability to work in a team and communication skills.

The master program covers the broad range of technical skills required by the industry and offers a high degree of flexibility in subject selection. Research-oriented forms of study with close contacts to industry and economy are offered.
