The publication of a dissertation or post-doctoral thesis is carried out by the ilmedia service at the Ilmenau University Library.

The Ilmenau University Library oversees all publishing activities available to members of the TU Ilmenau, and covers three service areas with the help of ilmedia: university bibliography, electronic publishing and Universitätsverlag (university press).
