At the 2026 Ilmenau Science Night, numerous visitors once again made their way to our department, which showcased interesting exhibits from current research, such as “Take a Walk with Our ROBOT GUIDE DOG,” “What Can Camera Images Reveal About Your Walking Style?” and “Discover 30 Years of Robotics History—ROBO-EXPO, our interactive robot exhibition.” In addition, the service robot “Pepper,” who warmly greeted visitors, and the robot dog Unitree Go1, a four-legged companion, drew everyone’s attention.
