Dr. Zahra Mehraban

About the person

I am a mathematician with a PhD in nonlinear analysis, specializing in boundary value problems for differential equations using variational methods, and hold an additonal Master’s degree in Data Science. My thesis applied Gaussian Process Models and advanced machine learning techniques to address high-dimensional, time-dependent data from the Bosch process. Currently, my research focuses on mathematical modeling for data assimilation and uncertainty quantification, integrating particle filtering and machine learning with high-resolution simulations to support climate-resilient urban planning in the context of the UrbanAIR project.
