Thanks to a donation from Keysight Technologies, the Department of High-Frequency and Microwave Engineering has been able to expand its laboratory equipment with two complete digital electronics measurement workstations. Each workstation comprises a signal generator, an oscilloscope, handheld and benchtop multimeters, and a laboratory power supply.
The new measurement systems are ideal for teaching the fundamentals of measurement technology and enhance the curriculum by providing practical measurement stations closely aligned with industrial applications. This allows laboratory sessions to be organised more flexibly and enables students to familiarise themselves with other specialist measurement equipment used in the department at an early stage.
