We conduct research in the areas of compliant systems and mechanism technology. The focus of our investigations is currently on compliant systems in connection with interdisciplinary research topics for applications in precision engineering, robotics and medical technology. The analysis, optimization and synthesis of compliant systems, which are divided into compliant mechanisms, compliant actuators and compliant sensors, is carried out by careful analytical and computational methods, for which we are particularly competent.
