Interdisciplinary Further Training for Technicians, Master Craftsmen and Engineers - Specializing in Electricity

In cooperation with the TU Ilmenau and TU Ilmenau Service GmbH, the TEAG Akademie offers the study course "Electrical Engineering and Power Distribution". This additional qualification as a "Network Engineer - Electricity" provides you and your company with an important basis for meeting today's and future requirements.

 

Modules Network Engineer - Power

  • Module 1 - Introduction to electrical power supply (5 days)
  • Module 2 - Introduction to network technology (5 days)
  • Module 3 - Basics of electrical engineering (5 days)
  • Module 4 - Overhead line technology (2 days)
  • Module 5 - Switchgear and operational management (5 days)
  • Module 6 - Basics of cable assemblies and fittings low voltage and medium voltage up to 20 kV (4 days)
  • Module 7 - Working under voltage - low voltage (1 day)
  • Module 8 - Safety, health and environmental protection for operational managers according to document 017 of the normative SCC rulesHSE-examination for operational supervisors (3 days)

Requirements

Applicants must have a degree in engineering or a comparable scientific education and/or relevant professional experience in a responsible position in the network sector of the utility industry of at least 2 years.

Training locations

The advanced training takes place at the TU Ilmenau and at the TEAG Akademie der Thüringer Energie AG in Erfurt.

 

Duration and costs

The total amount of time for teaching the 8 modules is 33 seminar days. Per participant the training fees amount to 4,995,- EUR (incl. teaching materials + 150,- EUR examination fees 30KV switching authorization).

Completion

The contents of the training are modularly structured. Each participant will receive a certificate of participation after completing a module. After successful participation in all eight modules, a certificate in network engineering - electricity is issued.
