Courses

There are two types of classes offered, which, depending on the degree program and the language skills of the student, determine exam to be taken.

 

There are two different examinations offered:

TOEFL-ITP

TOEIC (recommended for the degree program International Business Economics)

 

The classes include 12 lessons to prepare for the exam.

 

In case students fail the exam, the classes can be extended by an individually determined number of hours for which a fee is charged.

 

During the English classes, you register in the APC program of the Technische Universität Ilmenau and receive a Thoska card.

 

Attending classes of the regular degree program is not possible during this time. 

Expenses

600 euros per participant; included are:

  • Placement test fee
  • Course fee
  • Course materials
  • TOEFL / TOEIC mock exam (depending on exam) incl. correction
  • 1x TOEFL-ITP or TOEIC exam (normal correction speed / express correction on demand and extra charge)
 

The course fees (600,- EUR - incl. exam) are due upon registration. You will receive an invoice for the full amount. As soon as the invoice is paid in full, all embassy-related documents will be issued and sent by mail.
