Family Care and Job

The Care Leave Act

The Care Leave Act allows employees to be exempt for a limited period of time from work or to work part-time to care for close relatives, without jeopardizing their jobs. In other words, workers are given the right under certain conditions to stay away from work for up to ten days and to be exempted for up to six months in care leave from work. Here, the workers have the right to vote and the possibility to assert both claims.

A balance of recourse for the individual conditions is recommended.

Care Centers in Thuringia

The care support centres aim to provide the best possible care consultation and make extensive information on this matter available. In order to better plan and guide the care and assistance, the care counselling have already offered certain services even before its establishment.

The nursing consultation is especially recommended because many programs and services are available which are not linked to each other.

The care support centers provide comprehensive information on all emerging issues related to the need for care. In addition to fundamental questions regarding care support, there are also possibilities to adapt the living space and the placement of neighbourly assistance, domestic help services etc. Therefore, it is determined in the context of counselling within a so-called multi-level case management, the extent to which supply meets your needs, so as to provide optimum care planning to design and implement.

Therefore, we recommend, if necessary, to directly contact the advisors of care support centers in Thuringia. In Thuringia, there are three maintenance bases available, which are located in Nordhausen, and Sondershausen Jena. Soon there will also be one in Erfurt.
