What to do when your baby is restless, is not eating or drinking properly, or just cannot or does not want to fall asleep? How do you find out what your child needs to grow healthily?

At "Parenting Counselling", parents with children from ages 0 to 3 can seek for advices and support from the counsellors.

• When?: Every Monday from 9 to 12 a.m.

• Where?: At the Frauen- und Familienzentrum on Wetzlarer Platz 2 (old forest warden’s office)
  

Bettina Gerbert, as an experienced midwife, and Marie Ginter, as a qualified contact person in social issues, will be there to answer all of your questions regarding your child.

Competently and confidentially...

• ... get information on topics such as: breastfeeding and nutrition, health, growth and development, infant care, sleeping as well as courses and offers for parents and their children in Ilm-Kreis,
• check your child’s height, weight, growth and development and
• get advices on the necessities of your child, family and education, financial security, prevention of accidents, games and funding as well as in emergency situations or conflicts.

The parenting counselling is free of charge and does not require appointments before visit. This, however, does not replace the early detection screening given by the paediatrician.
