Die Studierenden haben nach der Vorlesung Kenntnisse  der Probabilistischen Methode und können diese auf Probleme in der Diskreten Mathematik anwenden. Sie sind u.a. durch die Übungen in der Lage, aktuelle Forschungsarbeiten zu lesen und die Ergebnisse zu präsentieren, zu besprechen und zu reflektieren.
