Die Studierenden haben detaillierte Kenntnisse des über- und innerbetrieblichen Produktions- und Logistikmanagements erlangt und können diese in das Supply Chain Management einordnen. Sie haben die wesentlichen Gestaltungsaspekte der langfristigen kundenorientierten Produkt(ions)programmplanung kennen gelernt und umfassende Kenntnisse über Modelle zur Gestaltung logistischer Netzwerkstrukturen, zur Standortplanung sowie zur Gestaltung und Planung unterschiedlicher Fertigungs- und Materialflusskonzepte bzw. -systeme erlangt. Durch die Vermittlung in der Vorlesung haben sie eine Vielzahl von Planungsverfahren erlernt, die sie sowohl auf den Hinweg der Produktion und Distribution als auch auf den Rückweg (Kollektions- und Reduktionsprozesse) beziehen und deren Unterschiede sie kritisch analysieren können.
Durch die Übung haben die Studierenden die Fähigkeit erlangt, die in der Vorlesung behandelten Aspekte anhand kleiner Übungsaufgaben und umfassender Fallstudien selbständig anzuwenden. Dabei beherzigen sie Anmerkungen und Hinweise der Übungsleiter und ihrer Kommilitonen.

Students have acquired detailed knowledge of inter- and intra-company production and logistics management and are able to apply it in supply chain management and analogous issues of circular economy. They have become familiar with the essential design aspects of long-term customer-oriented product(ion) program planning and have acquired comprehensive knowledge of models for the design of logistical network structures, for site location planning and for the design and planning of different production and material flow concepts and systems. In the lecture courses, they have learned a variety of planning procedures that they can relate to both the outbound route of production and distribution and the return route (collection and reduction processes). Hence, they are able to differentiate between them. Through exercise course, students have acquired the ability to independently apply the aspects covered in the lecture by means of small exercises and comprehensive case studies. In doing so, they observe comments and advice of the tutor and their fellow students.
