Die Studierenden sind in der Lage, ingenieurwissenschaftlich relevante fertigungstechnische und werkstofftechnische Fragestellungen zu analysieren und im entsprechenden Zusammenhang zu lösen. Die Studierenden sind in der Lage für neuartige Produktstrukturen im Produktkreislauf aus ihrem Sachverstand innovative Fertigungsverfahren mit einer wirtschaftlichen Werkstoffauswahl zu verknüpfen und zu synthetisieren. Der Modul vermittelt überwiegend Fachkompetenz.
