In this course, we will work closely with concepts of media and digital literacy and discuss the relevance and implications of media education.

Students will engage in a research project to investigate the roles of family and school in fostering media education. Therefore, we will go through the main steps of a research project, starting with the development of a theoretical framework, then examining the state of research. Afterwards we will develop instrument(s) of data collection, and finally collect and analyze data. At the end, students must deliver their research report in form of an article.
